Alex works with troubled 13-19 year olds kids who are currently in the school system.
Alex founded Leaders of Tomorrow (L.O.T.) and sees L.O.T. as an intervention program that utilizes entertainment (dance, art and talent shows) as a positive influence on young Latinos.
The group is 98% Latino and the majority of the kids are Mexican.
L.O.T. hosts fashion shows, dance crews, published "Latin Times" magazine and holds DJ classes for kids. Alex also hosts talent shows in local high schools.
